How do i install blinds i follow direction but i cant get the nail in.?

Question:also i tried to pwer drill a hole and a nail inbut it wont go far enough

Answers:
hold the bracket in place ,make your marks with a sharp pencil,pre-drill small pilot holes, heres the key DONT USE NAILS ,they will eventually pull out and youll be sorry,im surprised they came with nails..use screws, the drill bit you use should be smaller than the screw so it goes in easily and snug, take the bracket to your local home center they will be happy to show you what you need and it should be a few dollars for the drill bit and the screws are next to nothing...good luck...you may need a phillips head extention for you drill ..Bill

Use screws.
It sounds to me like you might have hit a metal stud. Have you tried a drill bit that goes into metal? If that doesn't work is the mount inside or outside of the window molding? If it's inside try drilling up or back or sideways which ever way you haven't tried.
I hope this helps.
