Do I need special tools when removing the P-trap under my sink?
Question:
Answers:
If it is PVC (plastic) the nuts should have large "ears" on them and be handtight. If metal, use a pair of channel-lock pliers.
A large pair of channel locks will work just fine
It should have been installed using the hand tight method. If they used a wrench, I'd find a kitchen towel and use a wrench, I am assuming it is plastic.
no you dont unless its an old 1 all of them are hand tight even the metal ones if you cant loosen it by hand run hot water down it for a few minutes than use a towell and remove it .if your not srong enough get a friend but the easiest way is to use a pair of channel locks and you can even find them at the dollar store
