How do I get my oil boiler out of lockout?
Question:I have an oil boiler and I had a delivery the other day but they had knocked the tap off and not turned it back on!
The oil had stopped running and the bowl was empty, that is now full again but the boiler itself is still in lockout.
It is a worcester bosch heatslave 15/19, I read the manual and it says something about pressing the lockout reset button on the burner control box but I don't know what it looks like and there is no picture, I found a little grey switch and pressed that but it didn't do anything and I think it might no tbe the right thing.
Please someone help me I have no hot water!

Look for a red button, that's usually the color of the reset/lockout button. It should be right around the burner motor assembly.
If you ca'nt figure it out, call the company that made your delivery, & tell them what happened, if they're worth a salt, they'll send someone out to fix it no charge. After all it worked fine til they touched it right?
The grey control box ( about 2 inches x 2 inches and situated under the front panel near the bottom I think) should have a button in the middle, though it may not look like a button !! Press this and it should reset.
the burner is now air locked. complain to the delivery people they can fix it. the burner needs bleed this is done using a tool called an allen key. the lockout button might cure it depending on the height of your tank and the distance from the burner. believe me it is simple to cure if you know how i used to deliver oil and the simplest way is to let the delivery people sort it out. they will need access to your burner to complete this two minute job. the lockout switch is usually incorporates a red light this is actually the switch, press it. it takes a few minutes to reset itself before you can try again.
get delivery people to repair as , because of their neglect ,to turn back on your oil line ,your oil pump has probably seized this often happens . although usually due to running out of oil their action has probably caused same thing reset button is round , red usually ,inside cover by burner motor
