How do u make an upholstred headboard for your queen bed frame?


Question:I'm building one.. i can't seem to find a good step by step with actually pictures.. I just want a comtemporary head board like this one..

go to www.hgtv.com, plywood,wrap it in fome and cover with fabric youl need a stapel gun foem and fabric at any craft store,it's so easy

i agree w/ the others that DIY or HGTV would have some directions if that is what u'r looking for. As far as what u'r showing... U also need to put buttons on it & that calls for a button needle, i believe it's called. plywood/mdf w/ foam & batting. Drill in the back of the wood where u want the buttons to go b/c that is where u'll go thru to grab u'r button & set it. Tie it off. If u want piping around the edge then u'll have to do some sewing like a box. & slip it over then staple it on the bttm then attach to bedframe. U'r hardware store will have the screws w/ nuts for that. Have fun
