Above ground swimming pool liner?

Question:My husband wants to put the liner in himself to save money. The pool is 18ft by 33 ft. Does anyone have any tips on how to do it?

Answers:
Yes I have done it with our pool of the same size. It is not difficult but you won't get the bottom as smooth and wrinkle free as a pro. You need to pull the liners outside edges over the walls and down to the ground. Put dozens of clothes pins around the top rail and start filling. As the bottom of the pool fills, you go around slowly releasing thr liner as the water spreads and pulls the liner tightly. Continue this process until the water is 1 ft up the walls. Then your done and just sit and wait for complete fillup. Going into the pool and smoothing the bottom as the first few inches fill also helps get a smoother bottom.
