My mira themostatic valve/shower doesn't switch off sometimes.?

Question:is it possible to fix this or is it knackered

Answers:
Assuming the shower is mains electric there is a solenoid valve thats slams shut when you hit the off button. These can be replaced, but if the showers over 5 years old I would concider replacing the unit, in my experience you fix one problem then another happens!
