How do I make a treehouse/clubhouse?
Question:My brother wants me to build him a treehouse but how do i do that . What i mean is like how do i put it together without it being a big waste of money?

We built ours all by ourselves.(Me and a friend) We did`nt have books or instructions(or the internet). But best of all, we had no fear. We did have trial and error! Which if you really think about it, is what a treehouse is all about. It`s a learning experience from the ground up, so to speak. Sometimes the best lessons in life are those you learn on your own. It may surprise you what someone learns by pushing aside a "keyboard" and picking up a hammer and an old crosscut saw.
Most kids build them with stuff they have srcounged up. You can generally find dumpsters where they build houses that are full of good wood. 2x4x16' with a half dozen nails someone didn't want to pull so they threw it away ect.. If you have the time to hunt you can build it for next to nothing.
Thats great that you are even willing to do so for him. I'll bet between your parents and a few neighbors you can scrape together some building materials to make one. We all have little pieces of wood, etc that could help you laying around in our garages. It doesn't have to be big to be fun. When I was a kid we didn't even have building supplies to make one. We just used a whole bunch of branches, twigs and small trees and sort of made a teepee, it was easy to make it very big that a bunch of us could play in.
