How to change vent above oven to over the range microwave?

Question:I just bought a Samsung Over the Range microwave for my new house. When I purchased my house I had them prewire for an Over the Range microwave.
Last night I removed the old vent/light and it is HARD wired into the wall with it's own breaker.
How do I deal with those wires being that I will no longer need them?

Thanks in advance

Answers:
If there is already a recepticle(usually in the cabinet above the range) then they probably just jumpered off of it and ran power to your vent. I would pull the cover off of that outlet and see if there are two sets of romex/12-2 wired to the outlet. If so one probably goes to the fan. Disconnect it and cut it out.

You could do a couple of different things. The easiest would probably be to install an outlet at the end of the wires, but since you say you've had the kitchen "pre-wired" for the over the stove microwave, you must already have one.
Why don't you disconnect the wires from the breaker and remove them altogether if you can? Then you'll have another potential circuit if need to install some other electric device in the future.
I would wire nut, tape off the wires and cap with a blank cover. Since you didn't know this connection was there before its useless to you anyway. The "micro-hood" will conceal it.
