My husband and I recently purchased the Peel Away 1 Package after trying to chip and sand paint from our fireplace mantle. After applying to a test area and seeing how effective it was we did the whole mantle and it took the paint right off down to the wood. I honestly have never used a better product, and we've used different stuff on paint, varnish, and tons of other projects around our house. I personally love it! ( I know, I sound like a walking ad, don't I?) :D Goodluck!
