Whats ur pet peeve?
Question:I cant stand it when people chew with their mouth open... the smacking of it too... its grose. or when someone dips their food in my ketchup...lol.

My pet peeve is horrible spelling, and when people can't take the time to spell "Your."
Mine is hearing people chew it drives me crazy! My husband pops his jaw when he eats and that drives me even more crazy
i hate it when people ask their questions in the wrong category..
Generally people who spell "your" as "ur" are a pet peeve of mine. Is there some reason people can't take the time to write another two letters?

People who hang sheets in their windows.
Have they never heard of a thrift store .
Mine is people that use their computers' keyboard as if they were text messaging someone from their cell phone. Oh yeah, people who don't know what SPELL CHECK is!!

Listening to chewing is up there. I can't even stand it when they have scenes in movies w/ people eating - drives me nuts.
I can't stand when someone will put a coffee mug in a sink, but not the dishwasher. Or when someone walks through a door and kicks their shoes off, but leaves them laying in the middle of the hall. Oh, piles of unfolded yet otherwise clean laundry.
But my number one pet peeve of all time is apathy. I cannot stand how people have become so apathetic. Why on earth do we put up with doctors? We are required to make an appointment, and show up for the appointment early, yet they don't have to keep it. You can sit in the waiting room for an hour when they are talking to the pharmaceutical sales rep DURING YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Why do they do this? Because we let them. We've become apathetic and believe it isn't wise to question or argue. WAKE UP PEOPLE!! We are the consumers. We have the power to drive the economy, not them. Stand up and demand customer service. Stand up and demand quality. If you don't, well, you see where we are.
I hate it when teachers lick their finger and then touch your paper to seperate it from everyone else's. It's DISGUSTING!!
When the news people take anything they get their hands on to either be the first or attempt shock value for ratings or whatever motivates them.
Whatever happened to "all the news that's fit to print"?
As an example: Cho mailed that video to NBC. Then one of the news organizations showed this video around the VA Tech campus and asked them how they felt (both to parents and students)! This video has value as evidence, and to the investigators who need to figure out what made that murderer tick. If a victims family wanted to, they should have been permitted to see it. But not for posting on the Internet, or showing on TV. We can't provide these Cretans with airplay in the event it instills a desire in others for their shot at 15 minutes of infamy. (Remember those Columbine killers left videos where they bragged about how infamous they would be.)
