I'm going to tear down my old house and put up a new one.?

Question:Is there anyone who can help me tear it down and recycle the lumber, copper, and plumbing? I need to do this fairly soon, and am not sure how to go about doing this. I live in covington

Answers:
If you want "help" with the tear down and are reclaiming the lumber, etc, you need to hire someone.

Try the local day labor hangout in your area.

Run an ad in your local paper, or a freecycle group on Yahoo, there are people who will tear down a house in exchange for the salvage rights to everything.

Check with your local tech school. (the one high school kids attend to learn a trade)

Check your local churches for programs that put men back to work.

Contact your local recycle center and see if they know anyone that specializes in this type of work.
