What kind of things should I learn to make?
Question:I often have 5-10 minutes between phone calls at the call center I work at. I have to sit there waiting for calls and some days can get quite boring. I need something to do between calls, so it occurs to me I could learn to make something with my hands that it won't matter if I get interupted suddenly every 5-10 minutes. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Website links are helpful too.

Learn to crochet. That can be dropped at a moments notice unlike knitting. Then you can you all sorts of service projects with simple crocheting. Leper Colonies still exist and always need bandages out of white cotton that are 4" wide and 3' long. Really easy and small to do. Tiny hats for Neo-Natal units are small and great too. Larger and also needed are receiving blankets & scarves for shelters. You'd be surprised how motovated you get to finish a project when you know you're helping someone.
