How do i sharpen my sword?

Question:i need helpits dull an di need ur help sharpening it

Answers:
Here are a few links on sharpenng your sword. I hope this sword actually has an edge, and is not a display or reenactment sword, as those are not meant to be sharpen, and trying to sharpen them can ruin them.

This link is very good, as it is step by step for beginners:

Good luck, and be careful.

You would need a grinding wheel.
Will you do this alone or with a partner ?
Buy a rough and a smooth stone for sharpening. Hold it in a vise and run the stones down the blade at the proper angle. They do make a handheld sharpener for knives that can be used. The sharpener is just pulled the length of the blade. Plastic handle but works really well on knives I have sharpened.
Take it to the blacksmith, then slay that dragon.
It all depends what it's made of (what type of steel) and if it was truely meant to be sharpened. If it is a sword meant for display only and meant to hang on the wall and there is no reason to sharpen it because it should never be used. There are weapons out there that are truely made for cutting but they already come sharp. If you have to sharpen yours, I suspect it should stay dull.
