We have a billion fruit flies in our hous. Can I build a trap that uses a battery to electricute thm?If so how

Question:I want to make it with wires over a cup of wine or fruit. PLZ HELP MEEEEE!!

Answers:
Take an empty trash bag and put in some ripe bananas, or what ever the flies like. Leave it set overnite. In the morning, grab the top of the bag and quickly seal it with your hand. Carry it outside and either let them go, or seal the bag and throw it in trash. Repeat as necessary. I have used a vacuum cleaner to eliminate them also. Just turn it on and suck the little buggers right out of the air.

I had a bunch of fruit flies in my house too. This is what I did, with the help of my brother who is an exterminator. He gave me these little orange cups that had lids with holes in them. I can't recall what they are called, but I recently saw one in a display case at a food place at the mall. Anyway, you fill it with apple cider vinegar or old wine. It attracts them and they can't get out and drown. Then he told me to sprinkle borax in the drain in the basement. He said they could be coming from there. Also, make sure you cover all of your fruit. Do not leave it sitting on the kitchen counter. It took a while, but they have never come back. You should try to find out where they are coming from because just killing them may not get rid of them, they breed way too fast.
I don't know about any crazy electrocution process, but I did just get rid of the exact same problem! I swear, I didn't beleive it when everyone told me but it works: They are attracted to ONE thing in the house. With my problem it was a rotten bag of potatoes that was forgotten and as soon as we god rid of them, in a few days they were almost all gone. That was weeks ago and I have'nt seen a fruit fly since we cleaned the area. Wherever you think they're most abundant, go through EVERYTHING, even if you need to move you stove or firdge or whatever, it's amazing when you're free!
I had a problem like that last year. We were told to get a small dish, half fill it with vinegar and put clear plastic wrap over it and secure it with an elastic band, finally take a tooth pick and punch a few tiny holes in the plastic wrap. The fruit flies are attracted to the vinegar. It worked!!
Hmm. I am more concerned with why you have so many. Everytime I buy fruit and leave it out for a day or two (I hate cold fruit) I will have half a million fruit flies. Rotting food. Check your kitchen. As far as killing them can't you just spray em to death??
