I want to design my room modern, and japanese or asian?

Question:I also want to have it all DIY projects. I love to decoupage, so that's an obvious option to makeover some stuff. But, do any of you people have other ideas?

Definitely go Asian. It is much broader and you will find more things. Look on people's websites like Oprah and Rachel Ray-they have tips on how to DIY and places to go to find 'cheap' things.
