I want to build a small 1 or 2 room cottage over my water tank. Where do i find plans?

I pretty much wonder something, as does answer number 1. Why directly over the storage tank?
The plan might better serve you if you build an elevated structure, allowing not only access to the tank and plumbing but as an area for storage.
Also as anwer number 1 alludes to; there are hundreds of structure design and floor plan sites on the WWW. Finding actual blue prints and materials lists might be avaliable as well, but might not be gratis.
Without knowing where you are, is there no one local who builds? Are you unique in that you have such a situation? IE: Water tank? Is it in fact for water storage? Do you have a gathering system/ cistern/well?
Obviously as well; my thought might be dependant on any local zoning/codes in your municipality/province, etc. An elevated dwelling, especially a house, would require pilings, and having them buried appropriately.

I have been looking for plans myself and there are plenty of places on the web. I have found a bunch of pictures. The tank is what I find may pose a problem later on. I like the idea you can treat and filter rain water for use in home. The house has to be small enough to move if you need to work on the tank. It sounds like a project.
