How do you renew faded, chalky vinyl siding?

Question:

Answers:
Try wetting the siding down with water and then spraying with a concentrated cleaner, making sure it doesn't dry on the siding. Then power wash the siding, making sure not to blow excess water under the siding. Don't get too close with the power washer since if you have any loose siding it could blow it right off. Most of your larger home improvement stores carry stuff right next to the power washers that you can use.

pressure wash, spray on a clear sealer that is made for what you have, hey will look new agin, saveing money also
There are companies that spray a vinyl coating that bonds to the siding. I don't know any more about it.
Paint won't work well.
Power washers can cause a lot of damage if you aren't careful.

I bet your house is Grey! lol. No, seriously, vinyl can be washed and painted with any color of a top quality latex paint. Except Grey! Grey for some unknown reason, is effected by the ultraviolet rays of the Sun. Grey, and also Brown.
Follow the advice of those before me. Then save up your money and have it replaced with the new improved vinyl siding.
Life time warranty? yeah right, I never did think vinyl siding was a good product. Especially it being as expensive as it is.
