Framing Carpenter?

Question:I am getting into the carpentry trade, i am wondering what is the best tool belts and access to get and tools i have all basic things but i want to be comfortable and have good tools

Answers:
If you're just starting out, all you need is hip tools. Twenty oz straight claw hammer (don't try to be a hero with a 28 oz framing hammer until you've driven a couple of thousand nails.), nail puller, razor knife, 30' tape measure (without all the fractions marked), chalk line, speed square, one inch chisel, flat and round pencils. That's all a new guy needs; you're not going to be cutting, laying out, etc for a while, so you don't need a bunch of power tools and such. You'll mostly be toting lumber to keep you out of trouble.

Before you invest in a bunch of tools why don't you work in the trade a while and see which tools you like to use. Every one likes different things. that's why we have so many brands to choose from.
look at the guys you work with,,if one apprears to be good ,,ask him what brand he likes

just stay away from anything made overseas--it is dangerous
Occidental leather makes a nice nail bag combo http://www.bestbelt.com/product/tool-bag... Professional grade.. I've had mine for over ten years and it's still going strong.. sort of.
Good luck
any belt is good, just get some suspenders they make a big difference.
get what is comfortable to you. your going to where it most of the day i find leather is best don't get one with 52 pockets framers only need two to four pockets and a place for your tape and hammer. good luck
normobrian hit it on the head ( no pun intended ). i will say i have hade an American Work Products set up with a back brace that has probably save me more than i know. it helps keep your back in the right position to lift with your legs and not your back so much. i like dead on hammers but dont but the titanium one . heck its all preference like someone said get some inexpensive tools ( but not overseas tools) and try out new stuff the other guys are using. trust me you will be in places that you will have to ask for a tool and you will learn quick what you like and what you dont.
good luck and dont fall... youre fired before you hit the ground!
