Have you ever painted the walls of your apartment even though you weren't supposed to?
Question:i reeeeeeeeeeeeeally want to pain this place..... do you think i'll get away with it? :o)

I say paint it! You can always change it back when your lease/rental agreement is up.

If it is in the contract "not" to paint them, then I would not, unless I painted the same color and finish that was there already. I know, it sucks. But who would want to repaint before moving to get deposit back? It is hard enough to move, also you may need them for a reference one day.
