My whiteout gets all thick and sticky. Can I thin it out?

Question:

Answers:
Some whiteout is water based- basically no smell if you sniff the open container and some stinks. The stinky stuff - I am not familiar with the chemical used so basically it is a toss. The suspected water based stuff - paint some on your finger and then spit on it abit and see if it gets thinner. If it does, just add a couple drops of water.and shake it up.

you can use water with most white out brands
Please, buy another bottle!
Throw it out and buy correction tape. I couldn't survive without it.
White-out is an enamel paint, it is not water based. To thin out the stuff, just pour in a little nail polish remover until it's the right consistency
Little known fact: Mike Nesmith Of the Monkee's Mother is the inventor of white out
Wrong, Mike Nesmith of the Monkeys did not invent white out. It was a young secretary, who since made millions from it.
