Start it into the groove, with a butter knife, or similar tool. Then use a spline installation tool, available from the home improvement superstore for about $2.00, to install the rest. Start the spline in the middle of the run, not in the corner. Keep a light tension on the spline while installing, and cut the spline with a razor blade or utility knife just before finishing, and push the last 1/4" or so in with the butter knife. Don't trim the screen until the spline is completely installed. The nylon or plastic screening is much easier to install than the steel screen, and it also can help with the glare from the sun.
