Ghost marks in window film?

Question:i might have used to much baby shampoo in install solution.can i clean it up without having to apply a new sheet?maybe peel it back and use straight water? help !

Answers:
There must be an obvious problem with your self installation; bubbles, streaks, Hazy milky look?

Bay shampoo is fine . Add a drop or two to a gallon of water. This should be fine. This is known as a slip solution. The key is to clean the window extremely well prior to the film install. Follow the manufacturer's instructions (if available. )

At this point I'd suggest that you pull off the film, re-clean and re-apply.

I had mine professionally installed and they did not use baby shampoo, but dish washing solution was added to their spray bottle and only a couple of drops. Vinegar will cut through the baby shampoo, but if you are going to reapply the window film add a couple of drops of dish washing soap.
DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO
You will have to get the film off of the window and off of the film too, I would think.

Try water to get it off, and this time only one drop of dishwashing detergent. Don't need too much, as you have found out. Good luck
Amonia will give it that effect.Did you use windex to clean it with
