How do I get stubborn stains off my paneling walls what do I use? thankyou?
Question:Its really bad!
Answers:
You didn't say what kind of pannelling, and I assume you have used water and soaps. Try a little comet on your finger. Comet(or Ajax) is an abrasive - like sandpaper - see what that does to the stain and the surface underneath. It may not get the stain off completely as the stain has soaked into the pannelling. If that is the case, you are looking at painting it somehow to hide the stain(whether you paint a small area relatively the same color or have to paint the entire wall. Whatever the case painting wise, the wall must be washed clean with TSP first.before painting.
Tough question. What kind of panels? What kind of stains? Try baking soda and water, Goof Off or a commercial cleaner of some sort. You could also re-paint the room using a good primer to cover the stains and a paint color to suit your palate...
try WD-40 and a dry washcloth. after they come off, then use another washcloth and rinse the area with soap and water. this is a great trick for painted walls too when your kids put crayons on them. AND it's doens't ruin paint texture or rub it off like the Magic Earser does.
murphys wood soap.
