What's the fuel consumption of a weed eater?
Question:I want to use a weed eater motor to power a jet pump which I am installing on a surfboard. The whole thing is supposed to become the fastest and smallest, portable water commuter craft in New Zealand.
I need to know the fuel consumption of the weed eater motor because I need to make sure the thing gets a big enough fuel tank to take me there and back (20 mile return trip).
Does anyone know how much they consume then?

I used an edger with a similar engine yesterday. Basically running it at full blast for an hour and a half on one tank
tank size approx: 1/8 gallon
Approximately 5 US gallons, and there will be some left to drink to your achievement.
