How do you pick a lock with household items only?
Question:I've been forgetting my locker combo at school a lot and frankly am sick of that so I would like to know how to pick it with house hold items only. I'm extremely new at this so be brief yet specific.

there may be a way that you don't need to dial you're combo to get in, but that means your locker is open to anybody so be careful...there is usually a slot on the inside of the top of the locker door, by inserting a quarter down the slot when the door is open can render the lock useless bu jamming the lock mecanism...good luck
Actually learning to pick locks would take way more time to do than going to the office, saying you lost/forgot your locker combo, and then writing it down on something which you keep in your wallet. Or on your hand.
Just write the combo down on a piece of paper & put ot in something that you always have with you like a purse or wallet.
To go through all the trouble that you want to go to makes me feel that you're not being honest about the real reason that you want to learn how to pick a lock.
If I told you that you could pick a lock with a wooden spoon, you would remember to bring one with you to school every day, but you can't remember three lousy numbers!!

go to the school security officer and ask him to teach you to pick your lock. they are there to help.
If it is a three digit lock, it only take you ten minutes to open it. The best thing is you don't need any house hold items, your hands will do it all. If you remember the first or last digit you will save more time.
Here is what you would do, one hand hold the lock, pull or push, as you are going to open it, starting form 0 0 0 use the other hand to turn the last dial from 0 to 9, then turn the second dial from 0 to 1, go back and turn the last dial from 0 to 9 again. There are only 999 combinations, the one you saw is not working anyway. Good luck.
If this is your locker see if you can choose the combination and set it for something you can remember like your birthday, your old address, the first 3 numbers of your phone number, or just 111. If the school security officer has any sense he or she is not going to teach you to pick your lock because that would be teaching you to pick everyone else's lock too. If you have a buddy you trust you can tape the combo of your locker to the inside of his. Of course if this is to get into someone else's locker most of this won't help a lot.
