Help remove drill bit from a ryobi drilll?

Question:hi, i have borroewed a drill from a friend and trying to change the drill bit. i did everything i could to remove the drill bit, but it seems it is stuck. any tips on how i could remove the drill bit. the chuck is a keyless chuck and does not seem to rotate if i hold the collar.

Answers:
If the drill is in reverse and the torque set to the highest setting, when turned on and holding the collar, it should release the bit. Can't imagine anything that would prevent this. Good luck.

You might be trying to do the chuck up instead of un-do! It's the opposite way with drills to the way you'd expect. There is also a way involving using the weight of the drill to help unscrew, sorry, I don't know any more details.
