Does anyone have plans to build a wooden clothesline?

Question:I just want to find instructions to build a T shaped clothesline.i've got a good idea how but would like some measurements

Answers:
you can use treated 4x4 lumber, bury in ground as above except you might want to consider making it the heighth you can reach. depends on your heighth. . can also use 3 inch heavy duty plastic pipi and glue crossarms on with fittings . you know, use a T fitting and cement horizontal legs into it. probly cheaper. just a suggestion.. could put 4 lines on it. and if they were 25 ft apart, it would give you 100 ft of clothesline. if you need more, put them farther apart, but not too far, the lines may sag too much.

8' pole with 4' crossarm bury pole 2' deep.
I'm afraid wood wouldn't make a very good clothesline. Too brittle, for one thing. Try using rope or aluminum wire.
