Linoleum peel and stick?

Question:I installed a new peel and stick floor a few weeks ago and it came out really nice. Now I see cracks between the squares, why is this happening? Do these things shrink?

Answers:
They expand and constract with temperature and humidity. If they were to expand after you instlled them they would of buckled up. So its bettter that they shrank instead of expanded. I wouldn't reccomend silicone between joints between cracks but a color matched latex paint. Take a small paint brush and a wet rag and paint the cracks and then wipe off the excess on the tiles with the damp rag. The silicone might cause them to buckle.

Everyone of them I've seen has the same thing. One fix is to get color matching caulk, the good kind that is seven dollars a tube, colors of all tile grouts are available.
this happened to my floor, only i noticed it years later. they slide cause its junk the company sells to us. good luck
I have always found peel & stick tile to have spaces appear in between them no matter how hard I have tried to lay them as close as possible. I did do one floor and used a floor adhesive which helped, but still they have spaces that appear. I finally broke down and put a single layer sheet of linoleum so I don't have to look at spaces.
