Creative ideas for area rugs?
Question:my floors are uninspiring to me at the moment. i need an area rug desperatly, but im low on funds. and full of empty ideas.
please help.

Don't rule out yard sales, estate sales, thrift stores, etc. You might even check with your local carpet dealers and ask if they have any small remnants you could buy. The selection is pretty small in most cases, but they are usually pretty inexpensive and you just may find something great.
you can find some cheap ones at home depot and some even cheaper ones at a building outlet store
or try to score a free one off of craigslist.com, just go to the free section and look for one
i used a heavy, dark colored patched blanket once and i could esily shake it off and wash it in my washer.
Get a large sheet of canvas from the fabric store and tape the sides under to create a hem. Then use poster paints in any design you like. Then seal it with an acrylic spray.
