What is the best (strongest) glue for gluing fish hook back together?

Question:the fish hook is within the "mesh" material of a pair of running shoes (track spikes).

Answers:
Try some JB weld. Lots of parts stores carry it, you may even find it a lowes or HD.
You`ll more than likely end up with a little bump were you make the joint. Of course this will only add to the obvious story behind a fish hook in a track shoe. (Keep breakin tapes)

I would take it to a shoe repair store and have them do it while you waited.
Gorilla Glue...It is the strongest. You can get it at youre local Lowes, Home Depot, etc.
Uh Just cut it out with a pair of wire cutters and buy a new hook...they're pretty cheap.
