How do I sew big sequins on a tank top?

Question:

Answers:
Sequins are usually attached to a garment using a bead. Thread first the sequin, then the bead, then carefully go back through the sequin hole and to the back side of the garment.

Be sure and secure each stitch on the back before moving on to the next sequin. Some beaded work actually ties off the thread completely, clips the thread and then moves on to the next sequin. Each time knotting and securing the sequin/bead before moving on. This is more tedious but too many threads criss-crossing the inside of the garment will rip out.

with a big needle and thread!?
Fabric glue might work. or use some kind of stud system
By hand is the best way. Start at the bottom of your design with a doubled thread in your needle. Hold the sequin in place with your left thumb (assuming that you're right handed) and bring the needle up through the hole and down to the outside at the upper edge of the sequin. Work across from left to right and then overlap the next row so the sequins cover the tops of the ones in the row below. Keep going until you have the design covered.

If you want to do it by machine, this site tells how, but basting or pinning the sequins on seems to be as much work as sewing them on in the first place.
