Does anyone have a Bosch Aquastar?
Question:We are having trouble with ours and I am wondering if we are the only ones. It takes FOREVER to get hot water and when we do it doesn't seem to stay hot long enough to fill a bath tub because it just kicks off. It will kick back on, but it is very annoying if you are taking a long shower. Also, our pilot has now started going out at least every other day. Anyone know anything about this?

Our neighbors have one and have had no problems. Perhaps the gas valve is not working properly. That would result in both symtoms. Sometimes water in the gas line will corrode the inside of the gas valve (which is electronically controlled).
how many BTU is the aqua star,o lot of people make the mistake of buying a small one for there house and,the water does not get hot enough when there may be two bathrooms,dishwasher, and someone taking a shower,your pilot light might have to be replaced,or the electronic board is defective.
