I need to replace my bathroom sink faucets. Are the the replacement faucets standard sizes?

Question:

Answers:
if it is the same style then yes. i mean if your hot and colds are seperate handles then get a new faucet with seperate hot and cold handles. if it is all one piece then stick with styles that are all one piece.

Generally yes. Unless you have something really old or really expensive, you should be fine.
No,
If you want to avoid having to refit the plumbing try and find out the make and model of your existing faucets. Then go to the manufacturer's website and look for other options that use the same plumbing connectors. Doing that will save you the hassel of buying something and having to return it.

But if you want to refit the plumbing go for it! then you can get anything you want.
If you have a standard sink made in the last 30 years, then yes, as most are standard sizes, that is center to center on double faucets and hole size in sink.
Call your local plumbing supply house for absolute information. or home supply center such as Lowes, or Home Depot, even the local hardware will have this information.
There are usually only two variables, the hole spacing and the hole diameter.

The spacing apart will not be an issue if they are separate taps and usually the two diameters are different for bath and sink.

So if you are replacing both sets make sure you have one set of each.
If the taps are mixer or mono-block make sure the pipes spacing is correct on the mixers and the right diameter spigot on the mono-block.
I think generally yes. I have had newer and older houses (30 years or so) and I have never had a problem just taking it out and going to HD or Lowes and finding the same hole pattern.
typically you have a 4in spread that would be a one piece unit or you have an 8in spread which means your unit is 3 seperate pieces... figure out which one you have and happy shopping... fyi 8 in is always more expensive. and harder to install...but on a scale of 1 - 10 i would call it about a 5
What a bunch of BALONEY
