Made to order stair rails?
Question:I need to find a company that can make a set of stair rails for my steps. I have 4 steps that lead up to a landing and I want to put a handrail on the steps and the landing. The steps are 11 3/4" wide and 6 1/2" tall. There are 4 steps and the landing for a total of 5 steps. The landing is 38" long. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appriciate it.

I'd start by talking to the 'pre-cast' step guys. They use this kind of thing (adjustable rails) all the time. Look in the yellow pages under "pre cast step" and/or just "pre cast". If your in a town of any size, it'll be there.

Welding shops often will make up handrails or window bars and similar items.
