Help for my micro fiber couch?

Question:I just got it about 2 months ago and someone burned a hole in it with a cig and spilled coke on it I was told I couldnt wash it there is a pretty Big stain on it and I wanna know if anyone knows how to get the stain out and about the burn can I kinda Sew it up or something?

Answers:
Do not use any water or liquid cleaner on your micro fiber or you will leave a water mark on the fabric. You can use dry granule cleaners for carpet like ones made by Capture, Resolve or Chem-Dry without damage to the fiber. Simply spread the granules over the stain, agitate into the fabric and allow to dry. You may have to do it several times as soda is a sugar base and it sometimes takes a while to break down the sugar which is binding the cola. Vacuum up the residue between applications.

As for the cigarette burn, you can repair it by taking excess fabric from a seam allowance in seat back cushions and either using a fabric glue to adhere it from the inside of the hole. Or you can use an iron on patch to adhere it if you are able to remove the upholstery (like if it is on a zippered cushion).

I don't know why you couldn't try to clean it? Get a microfiber cleaning cloth (I use it all of the time) and wet it a bit and work around the outside edges of the stain first. It is only soda, so the stain should just go into the cleaning cloth. If you feel the need to use a cleaner use something simple like white vinegar in a bit of water.
As for the hole you might look for a kit where you can take a small piece from a part of the sofa that doesn't show and "glue" it in place. I found such a kit for a leather sofa and it did a nice job for my daughter.
