Does anyone know of a good cleaner for porcelain tile or have a good suggestion on how to clean it?
Question:My wife and I moved into our new house around 6 months ago. We had the builder install porcelain tile throughout the house. Since then i have just used hot water and a sponge to clean any residue. However, i would like to mop it pretty soon. If anyone has some advice, I would appreciate it.
Answers:
Water and vinegar should work just fine! Hope they sealed the grout...that's what gets dirtiest but bleach and water does lighten that up. Just rinse well afterwards too.
I like a product called Ceramica...but you don't see it sold everywhere..don't need to rinse that.
Bleach and water
or CLR on really tough stuff.

hot water is good way to clean porcelain but for a heavy duty cleaning tile lab makes a good cleaner. You will find it at home improvement stores
like eve said try vinegar first
There is a great floor cleaner on the market called Armstrong Concentrated Floor Cleaner. You don't have to rinse it and it absolutely has no sticky residue. Your floors will shine too. It is in plastic bottle and you can see the blue product through it.
It's porcelain, I have a porcelain sink and they used to make porcelain bathtubs. So, they are pretty indestructible. I see no reason why you can't mop with anything you want, if it streaks, rinse and try something else.
