How do i open this product?

Question:This may be a stupid question..but maybe someone can help. I bought a set of 3lb weights. They are strapped down to the holder with HEAVY plastic straps.. my scissors can't even make a dent in them. They are connected with a little square thing..if you pull on one of the straps, they will tighten..but I don' tknow how to loosen it or take it off. I'm really annoyed..if the average person (sorry, im not stupid) cant take this off, dont package it that way!

Answers:
you can cut those 'wire ties' with; a pair of wire cutters, a pair of tin snips, or carefully with a utility knife. if you are going to use a knife, be very very careful, and think of where the sharp blade will go after it cuts through the tie. in other words, make sure that you keep you hands, fingers, and body out of the way! you best bet would be to buy a small pair of wire cutters from your local hardware store so as you have them for the next time. or act real helpless and ask the cute guy next door to help you, we love to feel needed!! lol sorry, didn't mean to sound sexist, just couldn't resist. good luck.

yes...thay are called.zap ties...they do tighten but are designed not to loosen.I use wire cutters on the stubbern ones.good luck!
