Can you get thermostatic showers to fit hot and cold pipes that are 60mm apart?

Question:Just moved into a house and previous owneres took the shower. We have a combi boiler and the pipes are 60mm apart (side by side). I assume I need a thermostatic shower but can't find one which fits this pipe centre distance. Help!! It might have been some kind of power shower but there is no obvious wiring for this

Answers:
There is no shower with connections 60mm apart that I know of, I suggest you look at putting elbows on the existing pipework to allow you to achieve pipe centres of anything between 110mm up to 155mm which is the usual for thermostatic showers. This can be done with chrome pipework and compression fittings to make it look tidy. The shower must be compatible with all plumbing systems to operate with a combi boiler.

Are you sure it is 60mm? Is there any play on the pipes?
Ideal Standard have a brand called Trevi and their Trevi Therm will accommodate pipe centres of 50mm. Valve can be fitted vertically or horizontally. Check out their web site for more info. A3000 is the product code or ring 0870 129 60 85 option 1 for technical advice.
I dont think so. You could rig it up though.
