Plan Scales?
Question:I am looking at a scaled drawing of my land. The scale is 1:500 if the area in question on the plan is 7mm what is this in metres and feet and inches - anybody help!

On that scale 7mm would be 35 metres, or 1380 inches, or 115 feet, or 38 and a 1/3 yards.

if you say it is 7mm that would be 4metres but buy a scale rule to check.
