How can i, doing myself, ensure a level area before i install a 15X4 ft pool...would like to do this very soon

Question:what other 'tools' will i need to complete this task

Answers:
Using a level atop a 8ft. or 10 ft. 2x4 will extend the reach of the level when leveling a healthy load of sand. Sliding or screading the sand with the 2x4 will help level it.

Get a load of sand, spread it into an area a bit wider than your pool, tamp in with a tamper and then level it with a level on a string.
You really only need to eye-ball this...common-sense.

You don't want any kind of general incline where the pool will go. You don't want to place it on rocks or stones or sticks and such.

As long as the ground is generally flat with no potential for punctures over the course of the summer you will be just fine.

Tools.depends on what kind of pool, but I imagine a couple screwdrivers will be enough.

When shall I be over!?
