How do I made a cheap homemade household cleaner?
Question:
Answers:
Baking soda, plain, like instead of scrubbing powder.
For liquid cleaner, mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 1 cup of rubbing alcohol, a dash of dish-washing liquid in a half gallon container. Add Water slowly to fill the container. shake.
You can spray and wipe, like you might with 409 or something like that. Or you can mop the floor with it.
If you leave out the dish washing liquid, you can wash windows with it.
Amonia and water always worked for me. cleans everything from grease to soap scum.
White vinegar and water makes just about the best cleaner there is. Here are a few websites with various recipes.

I agree with Llylyan. White vinegar is an excellent, cheap, non-toxic cleaner.
Vinegar & water wiped dry for windows, mop lightly for floors, put a tablespoon in the shower or dishwasher for buildup
Vinegar & baking soda use as you would a scouring pad or soft scrub for tubs, sinks, white walls etc.
Only a couple bucks a gallon and it is awesome
Spit and elbow grease are the most natural cleaners available... They work wonders when used together!
If you don't believe it, compare them to store-bought cleaners on natural filth!
Equal parts of white vinegar, amonia and water. Great for glass, porcelain and enamel.
I also use fine dry steel wool to clean appliances and the bathtub, to name a few. It will not scratch the surface and it is cheap at any hardware store. Not anything with soaps in it...plain fine steel wool. Dry is the secret...no water until you are ready to wipe the surface.
