How do you get rid of an above ground pool?

Question:

Answers:
I have two friends who have put ads in the local paper and sold theirs for a discount price. They also said that the person who will purchase the pool must be in charge of disassembling it and moving it out. Surprisingly they had several offers. They were able to profit from an eyesore they just wanted to get rid of.

Advertise to sell it.
You can run an add in the classifieds for it for free if they remove, or take it apart and have the metal recycled, and the liner hauled off.
Haul it to the dump.
Take it apart and if it is steel have a metal scrap yard pick it up (usually free). If it is one of those intex vinyl pools, I cut mine up into sections and had the trash man take it...
drain it if its full, can cause some major damage if its full and you just tear it open and let it rush out. Then its fairly simple, cut up the liner and get rid of it, the walls should be aluminum and can roll up and the braces should collapse as well, if you live where there is local garbage pick up call your sanitation department for special pick up(for the aluminum) the liner when its cut you can just bag up or tie up and toss.
Hang a free sign ot it and jump back lol :)
