How to put a break in an electrical power wire?

Question:I was wondering if there's some sort of jack/head/connector thingy that I could attach to the ends of a broken wire to my cell phone charger so I would be able to seperate and reconnect the line at anytime?

Answers:
You can buy small computer connectors and use those as the current is very small.

yep, Radio Shack has the parts.
The name of the part you are looking for is "in-line" electrical connector. They are made with an outer plastic case, for insulation...your protection. There is a hole on each end to insert both ends of your wires. Insert them fully, until they bottom out. You'll notice there is a metal "spade" in the middle of the connector, and that the bottom of it is sharp. I use slip-joint pliers, and press the spade down until fully. The spade cuts through the insulation of your wires and allows the current to flow through the wire to your charger. Snap the hinged cover into place to cover the spade. These connectors can be purchased in a variety pack or a in a single size. They are sized by their electrical capacity...blue, yellow, red. Just look at the package and it'll tell you what size you need. I often use black electrical tape to cover the connectors so that they are less noticeable on the wire. As an extra tip, if you ever use these in an outdoor application such as on a car, fill the wire holes with dielectric grease to prevent moisture corrosion to ensure years of trouble free installation.
