How can I remove bleach stains from a beige carpet?

Question:I was spot cleaning the carpet with what I thought was carpet cleaner, it happened to be bleach mixed with water.

Answers:
sorry about your luck, but you are screwed

bleach is not a stain, the bleach actually changed the color of the beige to white, therefore you cannot remove it..
sorry.
You can't. They aren't stains perse. The bleach has removed the color from the carpet.

If they are small spots, try a similar colored permanent marker to hide them. Otherwise cover the spots with a throw rug or furniture because otherwise you will have to replace it.
Bleach stains aren't stains. Bleach removes color, dye, etc. and once gone you can't put it back. Bleach isn't like a color dye or something similar that covers up something, it removes the color dye or something similar and it's gone for good.
I have two bleached spots on my beige carpet from a spill. I was told that the people who installed the carpet can replace that small section seamlessly. Hmmm...I'd better give them a call.
You cannot remove bleach stains, as the bleach actually removed the color from your carpet. What you need to do is have your carpet dyed back to its original color. Any local carpet cleaning company can do this for you, and it should not be tremendously expensive, maybe $40-50 at the most, or you can check for carpet dye yourself and do your own work, but I do not recommend that, as if you dye it wrong, it will look terrible.

If done right, you really won't notice the dye.
i don't think you can remove bleach stains. the bleach has actually taken the color out of your carpet. my wife works at home depot and customers ask this alot. you may have to replace the carpet.
OH, sorry you can't get that out. The only thing I can think of is to get some brown dye, and dilute it allot with water. Than using a cotton ball, pat the dye on it lightly, but be sure to dilute it quite a bit! Hope it turns out,Bye
You've actually removed some of the color from your carpet - not stained it.

The best way to "fix" this is to dye the areas back to their original color.

I suggest calling a reputable carpet repair company (or two) and requesting an estimate for the job.

Are these areas highly visable?? Would it be possible to rearange your furnituer to "hide" them? :-)

Best of luck to you!
I hope you didn't spot clean all over with bleach because it is toast. A beige permanent marker doesn't exist. Keep a red plastic bottle of Resolve on hand next time on each floor of your home.

Your only hope is to start rearranging furniture or buying a very nice area rug.
I don*t think you can remove it, but you can mix some very weak tea and try to get it back to nearly the beige color.
I did this with my daughter*s beige carpet and it worked.
