Do acrylic plastics age over time?

Question:If they do, would it affect the adhesiveness when I try to bond two pieces together using conventional acrylic glue? (plastics are about 4 or 5 years old) Thanks

Answers:
Acrylics do age, but you should still be able to glue it without problem. The glue works by a chemical process and will in some ways "restore" the acrylic at the joint. Also, 4-5 years is not significant in terms of the aging process.

just try it and see what happens. It's not the end of the world if it does not work. However it may work very well. Weev
Yes, they do.
