Latex paint on plastic wrap?

Question:Will latex paint stick to plastic wrap (the kind used for covering books, notebooks, etc.)? I have a choice between cardboard or plastic wrap, and plastic wrap seems more durable 'coz I need to wrap it around a drumset. Thanks!

Answers:
Latex paint will not stick to plastic wrap. However, you could try to first prime the wrap with a primer and then paint with latex. That may work.

Good luck with this!

Have you tried parchment paper? It's used for baking cookies, cakes, etc. You can find it in the same aisle as plastic wrap at Target. That might work better.
