Removing strip stacking marks on decking boards?

Question:Guys, the strip marks you can see on a piece of cca treated pine wood, will they fade by letting it weather for a while ( if so what length of time is best ) or will they become less visable with a few coates of stain or oil.

Answers:
Not to worry! They will fade in a very short time, as will the memory that they were ever there. About a month, depending on exposure to sun and rain. The more the faster! Stain if you want to if you want to add tone. Its probably not CCA treated, that was phased out about 3 years ago. More than likely AC2 or, the latest, MicroPro.

These marks will fade with time depending on degree of intensity. If you want to speed up the process use deck wash for treated lumber or just wash with a gallon of water and 1-2 once of clorox
Sandpaper or a power washing will remove them completely. no need to wait for them to fade.
