How hard is it to install a new bathroom faucet?

Question:

Answers:
It's not very hard at all, as long as you can reach all the required parts. Here's what you do:

First, turn off the hot and cold water to the faucet at the valves under the sink. Then turn on both handles to release the pressure on the faucet. I would then get a bowl, and place it under the water feed lines(the pipes coming off of the water valves that you just turned off.) Then you have to take the lines off of the faucet with an adjustable wrench. At this point, some water will come out, this is normal and is why you have the bowl there, to catch the extra water in the lines. After this, depending on the type of faucet, you will need to take off a nut or two that is holding the faucet to the sink using the same wrench. You will be able to remove the old faucet now and now it's just the same thing in the opposite order to install the new one. If the new faucet doesn't come with a gasket on the bottom of it, you may want to use a little plumber's putty to make a tight seal between the faucet and the top of the sink. Just roll a small handfull into a long snake shape and wrap it around the opening that the faucet will go, and when you tighten the nuts below, the putty will squeeze out, which is fine, just remove the excess when your done. Good luck.

my sister in law does it, it don't look hard
It comes with directions right
no problem if the person who installed the old one used thread dope, because if they didnt youre gonna have heck removing the old one. Definitely get some penetrating spray to use on the threads. Tap gently. Patience, patience, patience. And make sure that you can turn off the water supply if need be. Good luck!
