HELP i got a nail stuck in my wall?

Question:i was putting up this wipe board in my room with nails, and i started to hammer one in and it got stuck halfway through.

It will not go any further and try as i might, i CANNOT get the nail out. I seriously have been all of my strength on pulling it with the backside of the hammer but it wont budge either way.

any suggestions?!

Answers:
Put something against the wall to protect it. Then get a prybar or at least the biggest hammer you can get ahold of. You probably got into a solid knot in the wood. It may take some effort, but it will come out. Don't try to nail in that spot or anywhere within about 3" of it.

Replace the wall.
A longer hammer or pry bar will get it out. You must be using a 6 oz hammer. Let the tools do the work not you. Thank you.
Place a 2x4 or 1x4 board (or anything) on the wall by the nail, and set the hammer on that to pry it loose. You are raising the head of the hammer, and it gives you a better angle to remove the nail.
If you have a pair of electricians pliers, grab the nail with the cutting part, place a metal 12" x 18" square under the front of the pliers,(flat on the wall), squeeze the pliers just enough to bind on the shank of the nail and gradually pull up the handle of the pliers while letting the front of the pliers rest on the square. As the nail starts to come out, move the pliers down closer to the wall, take another bite and lift till the nail comes out.

This is especially good for a finish nail that does not have a large head. In the event the nail breaks, recut it as close to the wall as you can, and use a nail punch to drive the nail further into the wall. The nail should go in because the short shank is less likely to bend. If all else fails, just let it bend, sink it in as far as you can and spackle over it.
I am afraid that you are going to hurt yourself. Get a neighbor to do it for you.
I would either A. get somebody a little stronger to try to pull the nail out or B. Get a sawzall and cut it off.
Leverage is needed here. Place a board on the wall to protect it from the hammer head, put the claw hammer on the nail, then use a short piece of pipe to extend the handle. You may not have a piece of pipe so become inventive and use something else to gain added length.

If all else fails, cut it off with a hacksaw blade flush with the wall. Pound on it a bit (just to round it off if it won't go in further)and Spackle over it.

Next time, predrill a very small hole. You may find there is nothing behind the wallboard and you will need molybolts.
Try backing up to the nail with your butt cheeks and firmly clamping down with your cheeks, then use your legs to push off away from the wall. Viola! The nail will be removed.
