We need an odor eater in our powder room, there is no ventilation. Any suggestions?
Question:Just a toilet, sink and no way to pipe out the air, and need to control the odors. Is there such a thing as a fan with a carbon filter like over a range hood, that can be hooked into the power? We can't tolerate the smells of air fresheners and chemicals.

Hello; you can go to a Travel America or T/A rest/truck stop and purchase a product I did for myself and use in my 18 wheeler. It is a small bag for eating odors which consists of volcano rocks ground down into small pebbles. It seems to work fairly well for me and I hope it does for you!
a bag or charcoal ( for a bar b q) it absorbs most odors

Until you come up with a permanent solution.light matches that's what the old timers used before fans.
Yes, go to your local hardware store and purchase an exhaust fan. They pull the smell out, but normally only work when the light is on. For the in between times, purchase some sort of odor absorber, they sell them at the hardware store also.
There are a variety of exhaust fan/light combinations available but keep in mind that they only work if you can vent it to the outside. Otherwise you are just transferring the smell from one location to the next.
Get one of those small air purifiers that plug into an outlet. They are made for small places like a bathroom.
